Apple's anti-porn crusade hits fashion magazines

Apple's iTunes store wants to have absolutely no nudity, as they consider all nudity pornographic. That means to even a nipple shot is allowed to be within anything that is going to be sold, and that is hitting not only the more libertarian journals, but also many quite average fashion magazines which have things that upset Steve Jobs.

Apple's censorship comes from their desire to control every single element that is allowed to even exist around their products. All software that is created for their precious iPad and iTunes must be first given to Apple and only after their approval may somebody else use that software. That means that even if the coder and the user both agree on what should be in some application, Apple still will have the final say over what an end user allowed to use.
