Propose Less, Listen More is an article written by Catherine Stephens and published in The Guardian on 2008 November 19. In this article the author discusses the need for the government (and the society as the whole, including the news media) to engage the sex workers when it comes to making up opinions on sex work. The article starts with the observation that there is "inverse correlation between the ignorance of the speaker and the vehemence with which they [sic] hold their [sic] opinion", later the author discusses the specific issues with the British government's approach to sex work (criminalising people and driving the workers underground).

The article is written in a very radical format for the general newspaper, there is definitely no calls for any social revolution; but the demand for more participation is a very anarchist ideal.
