Feminism is a social movement that works towards gender liberation, that is, social, economic, and political equality of genders in the world. This is not a homogenuous movement and consists of many different submovements, all of which are feminist.

Pseudo-feminism

There is growing number of people who think feminism is about being pro-female and anti-male. Feminism is not a movement which promotes discrimination based on gender (read: sexism), and anyone parading under the banner of feminism with such beliefs is not a feminist. Feminism is for gender liberation.
