This is a special meeting for the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) to be held on IDAHO day. (For more info about IDAHO and this year's theme-please see www.dayagainsthomophobia.org

The meeting will consist of a panel discussion with key speakers from the world of education. Panellists will include Sue Sanders, co-founder of "School's Out" and "LGBT History Month", Elly Barnes, music teacher, trainer and diversity officer and recently voted no 1 LGBT unsung hero/heroine on Pink List 2011, and Janet Palmer, Her Majesty's Inspector, National Advisor for Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education. (OFSTED).

Janet is also an active member of Ofsted's LGBT equality forum.

The panel will discuss issues affecting the rights of LGBT pupils at schools, from the prevention and resolution of bullying, to the need for curriculum development and the role of faith schools.
